Testing procedure
For every level, you will go through several MidTerms and a final Test.
We run a Midterm review every month. At the Midterm, you will be asked to demonstrate basic proficiency in the techniques covered during the last three months. You must successfully complete each Midterm for that level. Once you have completed all the necessary Midterms, you will be eligible for the Test.
Midterms Level 1 - regular class with Niels Krom
Level 1A: donderdag 29 april 19:00 - 20:15
Level 1B: donderdag 27 mei 19:00 - 20:15
Krav Maga Levels Workshop
The Krav Maga Level 1 Workshop gives you a good opportunity to sharpen the techniques and prepare yourself for the Krav Maga Exam. Instructors Synthia and Niels will review the Krav Maga Yellow Belt techniques and you are free to ask questions.
Krav Maga Exam
Krav Maga Exams are designed to push you to your limit. Unlike Midterms, Tests are very intense experiences that help you prove your ability to perform under stress. You will leave the test with a deeper understanding of the techniques and, more importantly, a deeper understanding of yourself.
You can expect a Level 1 test to last approximately 1.5 hours; Level 2 will be approximately 2 hours; and Level 3 may be as long as 3 hours. Upper level tests are longer (and therefore much more rewarding!).
Krav Maga Dress Code
We ask that you wear a REFLEX Club t-shirt and any appropriate training pants or shorts. We do wear wrestling shoes during training. Please, no hard-soled shoes on the mats. You should consider investing a few euros in a mouth piece.
Groin protection for men is strongly, strongly recommended!
For Level 2 and above, you will need to purchase the following items: Boxing Gloves and Shin Guards. We advise you to think about MMA Gloves for ground fighting and headgear for full contact sparring as well.
